Background - A-7B Navy Serial number 154502 which is the 142nd A-7B fabricated and the 344th A-7 airplane manufactured. This airplane last saw service with US Navy Attack Squadron VA-46. It had been removed from active service and used as a teaching device for personnel learning to remove damaged airplanes from active runways. It was later transferred to National Museum of Naval Aviation for restoration and display
